Acid Resistant Tiles
Our Acid proof tiles, Acid alkali resistant tiles, Chemical resistant tiles are fully vitrified tiles which are manufactured using special non ferrous clay, processed at extremely high temperatures this process causes the raw materials to fuse and form a compact mass with an extremely low water absorption of less than 0.5% resulting in the formation of a very strong body with a flexural strength of 38 N/mm2, solid through color fade proof with a very hard surface Mohs hardness of 7.
The acid resistant tiles come in a range of sizes and thicknesses from ranging from 8-25mm. Our acid proof tiles meet stringent specification norms of IS 4457:2007 and relevant ASTM/DIN standards which ensure excellent performance in Acid/Alkali/Chemical (expect Hydrofluoric acid and its derivatives).
Amana is providing acid resistant bricks & tiles in different thicknesses as per ASTM C279,IS 4860,IS 4457 & DIN Standard with the help of Dry Process and are used as per the requirement. Our Bricks and tiles can resist highly concentrated acid, low water absorption, highly mechanical Strength, etc. This process results in bricks and tiles that resist virtually all corrosive liquids and gasses, expect for acid fluorides and strong hot caustics.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Bricks are to be stored away from water / rain water since dampness on the bricks affects the bonding of the acid proof cements.
HEALTH & SAFETY
While lifting and carrying the bricks, care should be taken that the corners / edges do not cut / damage hands. Normal (wear hand glows, tight fitting safety goggles and industrial shoes during manual handling)
