Carbon bricks lining

Carbon Bricks are used as linings in high temperature vessels and corrosive environments with acid/alkali attack. Carbon bricks can withstand most chemical attacks, high temperatures or sudden temperature changes, thermal shock associated with vessels of such conditions.

Carbon bricks & Carbon tiles are recommended for hydrofluoric acid, hydrofluorosilicic acid, their salts and caustic environments.The characteristics of carbon brick have proved outstanding in numerous areas of the chemical industry for the lining of baths, lining of chambers and towers in chemical plants, reaction vessels and boilers as well as corrosion resistant masonry construction and floor coverings.

Carbon bricks/ tiles / shapes / sleeves are supplied in grades manufactured using the latest production techniques as per IS, ASTMC 1160 or DIN standards.

ACI – Carbon Bricks ( Impregnated)

CARBON BRICKS PHENOL IMPREGNATED – (AF) QUALITY.

AMANA CARBON INDUSTRIES, specializes in the manufacturing of Impervious Carbon Bricks (Conforming as per ASTM/ DIN Standard) especially developed for High Corrosion Resistance, Excellent Resistance to Thermal Shocks, High Crushing Strength, Improved mechanical properties & it withstands temperature upto 180°C. Having low Porosity 3-4 % & average Carbon content 98% and Low Ash upto 2%.

CARBON BRICKS NON – IMPRENGNATED ( STANDARD BRICKS “A” QUALITY)

AMANA CARBON INDUSTRIES, having another range of manufacturing of Non-Impervious Carbon Bricks Quality (Conformance as per ASTM Standard) especially designed for High Corrosion Resistance & Excellent Resistance to Thermal Shocks, lower the mechanical the mechanical properties mainly for all major Acids and Alkalies. Temperature Resistivity 750°C & Carbon Content is 99% and very Low Ash i.e. upto 1.0%.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE :

AMANA CARBON tiles/bricks/shaped are to be stored in the original packing under shade , away from heat , fire , moisture & having unlimited shelf life if not absorbed any liquids & rainwater etc.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS :

While lifting & handling the tiles/bricks/shapes, care should be taken that the corners/edges do not cut/ damage hands.

Note :

This is the weight of Impregnated Carbon Bricks per unit. For Non. Impregnated Carbon Bricks unit weight is less by 9.4 % than Impregnated Carbon Bricks.

WARRANTY

We offered best specifications in our bricks which increase its life throughout but since the method and place of application of the products are beyond its control, its guarantee is therefore limited to the quality of materials delivered.

 

We can offer the Guarantee/warranty period of 5 years from the date of commissioning of any equipment against any mechanical damages & wear tear & mortar due to chemical attack.
