AMANA ACID BRICKS AND REFFRACTORIES

AMANA Acid Lining & Refractories Pvt ltd

Mullite bricks

Mullite Bricks are a kind of high alumina refractory materials with mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase and containing 65~75% alumina content. Mullite Brick is widely used in blast furnace, hot blast stove and glass melting furnace with its various excellent properties of high temperature resistance, good thermal shock resistacne, high thermal conductivity and so on.

AMANALITE Mullite refractories are manufactured from high purity mullite grains. AMANALITE refractories are extremely stable in service, unlike conventional mullite refractories. They are specially meant for applications that demand good chemical and mechanical stability, strength at high tem-peratures and resistance to spalling, corrosion and flame impingement. They outperform other refractories in high temperature vol-ume stability in applications such as high intensity burner, carbon black reactors and other processes operated at ex-tremes of temperature and corrosive conditions. Mullite products based on Silimanite, Andalusite and sintered mul-lite are widely used in glass and steel industry applications for their excellent thermal shock properties, creep resistance and resistance to chemical attack.
